The ZGG40-385 (3+0) Modular Power Supply SPD is a kind of level C power supply lightning protector consisting of three pluggable MOV type power supply protection modules for protection of L-PE. It is applied in the low voltage AC power distribution system, and connected between the AC power supply and the equipment in parallel. It can prevent the equipment from the impulse surge and the transient overvoltage caused by the outside environment (such as lightning, EMI, etc.) or by the system (such as switching effects of the system, startup or shutoff of the inductance and capacitance load, etc.)

Installation, Usage and Maintenance

Installation

1 This product can only be installed and maintained by qualified professionals. The installation position cannot be touched by hands. Ensure that it is unpowered and check whether the SPD is all right before installation. If there’s damage or the display window is red, the SPD cannot be used anymore; if window is green, the SPD is normal.

2 The SPD should be installed behind the fuse (FU1) of the power supply circuit, with the capacity of the fuse not exceeding 125A gL/gG; otherwise an 80A gL/gG fuse (FU2) should be provided in the surge protection branch circuit.

3 Refer to Fig. 3 for connection according to the marks on the SPD. The sectional area of the connecting line must be more than 4mm2 and be as short as possible.

4 Connection of remote signalling alarm: the SPD is provided with remote signalling alarm interfaces (1 and 2 normally closed, and 2 and 3 normally open), applicable for remote centralized monitoring or alarm.

5 After the connection, check if the module is fitted in. If so, 1 and 2 are closed, and 2 and 3 are open; if not, repress the module.

1 Sau khi thất bại, SPD sẽ tự động ngắt kết nối với mạch cấp nguồn thông qua hệ thống cầu chì nhiệt bên trong, cửa sổ hiển thị thay đổi thành từ “Đỏ” sang “Xanh”, và các giao diện báo hiệu từ xa 1 và 2 được mở và đóng 2 và 3. Khi cửa sổ hiển thị xuống cấp là màu đỏ hay có một tín hiệu báo động từ xa, SPD sẽ được thay đổi ngay lập tức.

2 Cửa sổ hiển thị của SPD phải được kiểm tra sau cơn bão.
