The ZGZH-30 (TY) Combined SPD integrates protection of the video signal and data signal with itself, and can realize remote signalling. It is connected to equipment in series, suppressing induced lightning waves from the signal line and other overvoltage, and preventing the surge pulses or transient overvoltage caused by the outside environment (such as lightning strokes, EMI, etc.) or by the system (such as switching effects of the system, startup or shutoff of the inductance and capacitance load, etc.) from damaging the equipment

1 Before connecting the SPD to the system, check if the grounding resistance of grounding grid meets the requirements. And then connect the SPD to the bus of grounding grid by using the grounding wire with the cross-sectional area greater than 1mm2.
2 Connect the SPD to the front-end of protected equipment reliably.
Usage and Maintenance
1 There are “Input (IN)” and “Output (OUT)” on the SPD. The output is connected to protected equipment; the input and output must be in a reliable connection, and cannot be reversed. Otherwise the SPD will be damaged, and the equipment cannot be well protected.
2 The users can not disassemble the fasteners of various parts of the combined SPD at random, to prevent damage.
3 For the loss increase caused by poor connection, you need to reconnect or replace the SPD in time.
4 Use the multi meter “Ω × 1” to measure the resistance between the input signal line and output signal line (of the video signal SPD), and the result should be about 1Ω; for the two-position connecting terminal of the data signal SPD, the resistance between input and output should be about 4Ω.
5 Use the multi meter “Ω × 10k” to measure the resistance between the signal line (of the video signal SPD) and PE, and the result should be greater than 2MΩ; for the two-position connecting terminal of the data signal SPD, the resistance to ground should be greater than 2MΩ; Use the multi meter "Ω × 1 " to measure the resistance between two connectors (of the remote signalling port), and the result should be zero. If the measured values do not agree with the above-mentioned, the SPD should be replaced.
